Selection Criteria

DEMO is the antithesis of a technology trade show. DEMO products come from all corners of the industry and from companies large and small. Yet regardless of size, each company endures the same screening and is presented in a level environment at the conference. Executive Producer, Chris Shipley and a team of experts evaluate and select the demonstrators by key criteria.

To be considered, a product must:

  • Make its public debut at the DEMO conference
  • Make a significant contribution to the state of the art in its target market
  • Change the dynamics of the marketplace into which it is introduced
  • Be backed by a management team capable of delivering the product to market

Apply for Consideration

Before submitting your product for consideration, answer the following questions:

  • Is this product currently in public distribution, either as a launched product or as a highly-publicized beta test?
  • Is this product an upgrade to an existing product?
  • Is this product entering an already saturated market category with little market differentiation?
  • Has this product been widely covered by technology and business media?

If the answer to any of these questions is "yes," then this product is not a viable candidate for DEMO. Nevertheless, we encourage you to attend the conference and take advantage of the outstanding networking and learning environment of the conference.

The Executive Producers review all requests for consideration. Please complete the Demonstrator Application form in its entirety. This information is considered confidential and received by the DEMO conference under an implied Non-Disclosure Agreement. Information is provided for the sole purpose of consideration for participation in the DEMO conference, unless otherwise explicitly stated by the submitting company.

DEMO organizers will acknowledge and screen all requests within two weeks of submission. All companies that pass first-level screening will be contacted to arrange a screening meeting with one or both of the conference's producers. All screening meetings are held under mutual non-disclosure agreements to preserve confidentiality.
