| Innovation on the Horizon: A Look into Hardware/Software Developments in R&D Labs Denis Browne, SVP of Imagineering, SAP will speak about work in SAP's labs on a product called "new asset networks." This allows sensor-enabled physical objects appliances in your home, products in a factory and cars in a city to talk to one another, to people or to computers. This communication includes in a software layer, so data can be integrated within enterprise software solutions. Aaron Getz, Product Unit Manager, Microsoft Tag will reveal the latest developments with Microsoft's Tag system. This innovation lets you take a picture of a barcode with your mobile phone, and it instantly connects you to information about that barcode. But now Microsoft is moving beyond barcodes, and the company will talk about these new developments on the horizon. |
