- There are currently two indirect competitors to the PCMobilizr product: GoToMyPC and LogMeIn. Both these competitors offer Web to PC access, whereas PCMobilizr is focused on mobile to remote PC access. Neither GoToMyPC nor LogMeIn is available on BlackBerry devices and neither one is sold through a wireless carrier.

- The PCMobilizr prosumer software application enables smartphone users (initial release on BlackBerry, to be followed by releases of iPhone, Nokia, Windows Mobile and Android mobile devices) to remotely login to their desktop computer, display the screen of their computer on their mobile devices and control the keyboard and mouse – all remotely and securely. PCMobilizer’s simple three-step configuration process gives users single touch access to their remote PC or desktop from anywhere, anytime.
- Market Opportunity
- Connecting to remote desktops in the office or at home is a growing industry with a strong demand to extend this capability to mobile devices. According to IDC, 81 million converged mobile devices were shipped worldwide in 2006, and that number is expected to grow to more than 300 million by 2011.
