Product Description
Invision.TV is the world’s first, comprehensive, visual Interactive Program Guide (IPG) for Internet video that makes it easy for consumers to discover, watch and share content from video channels across the web in an intuitive, engaging TV-like experience on multiple platforms. The Invision.TV guide combines video search and discovery, social networking and personalization features into a patent-pending application that simplifies the navigation of video and enables the delivery of targeted content that addresses users' specific interests.
Market Opportunity
According to Comscore nearly 142 million U.S. Internet users viewed over 12 billion videos online in May 2008. Forrester predicts that the growing consumer adoption of online video will result in an increase in online video ad spending from $1.0 billion in 2008 to $7.1 billion by 2012.
DEMO Says
Video discovery is a browsing problem. Browsing because we want to preview video content before choosing to view it. Problem because the sheer quantity of Internet-based video makes it impossible to effectively parse. Invision.TV blends search, social networking and syndication to aid discovery of video across thousands of sources. As importantly, the application distribution model means the company can run an effective business model without disrupting the monetization of source sites.
